Bethany Online offers credit-bearing graduate certificates through the graduate programs. These credit-bearing graduate certificates are taught by credentialed faculty and are approved by the Graduate Council.
Admission to Credit-Bearing Certificate Programs
Individuals interested in completing a credit-bearing graduate course must apply for admission through the Office of Enrollment. Applicants to certificate programs must have completed an undergraduate degree prior to enrollment, submit official transcripts, and pay the required application fee. Students wishing to transition from a certificate program to a graduate degree program must apply through the Office of Enrollment (Bethany Online). Courses completed as part of a certificate program may be applied toward a graduate program if completed within the past ten years.
Certificate Program Course Fees
Fees for courses in the certificate program courses are charged at the standard graduate course rate.
Certificate Completion Requirements and Documentation
Students must earn a grade of “B” or higher in each course included in the certificate program to qualify for a certificate of completion. Up to six transfer credits may be applied toward the certificate completion, provided the program evaluation confirms that the transferred course is a comparable graduate-level credit-bearing course.
Upon completion of the program, students will receive both a virtual and a hard copy of the certificate from the Office of the Registrar. The Registrar will also maintain enrollment and course completion records, allowing students to request official verification of completion via a transcript if needed.
