Mission
The Faculty-Sponsored Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Educational Studies, in partnership with West Liberty University for teaching certification, prepares students interested in seeking teaching certification. West Liberty University provides the education courses required for teaching certification. Students must apply and be accepted into the West Liberty University program to declare this major. After completing all required courses at Bethany College and West Liberty University, students will receive a joint degree from Bethany College and West Liberty University.
Learning Outcomes
1. Students will develop and apply advanced research, analytical, and critical thinking skills to identify, evaluate, and propose solutions to interdisciplinary problems.
2. Students will exhibit proficiency in written and oral communication, effectively articulating interdisciplinary concepts and solutions.
3. Students will build practical skills and experiences, preparing for diverse career pathways that require adaptability and an interdisciplinary approach.
