This course is an introduction to statistics and probability. The methods of description, measures of center and variation, basic experimental design, sampling distributions, normal distributions, confidence intervals, significance tests for one population, and simple linear regression will be covered. Applications to a variety of fields will be used. Not open to students with credit for MATH 383.
