Interdisciplinary Trail - Sustainability

Description 

This trail provides students the opportunity to learn how human relationships, natural resources, and diverse perspectives can be understood and used to creatively address the global challenges that affect the future inhabits of the Earth.

 

Students must select two courses from the following areas:  

Arts/Humanities: ENGL 230 Writing and the Environment, PHIL 124: Introduction to Ethics, PHIL 254: Contemporary Ethical Issues, INTD 241 Introduction to Social Justice, GENS/PHIL 353 History and Philosophy of Science, HIST 210 Age of Extremes: The Twentieth-Century World

Social Sciences: ECON 260 Comparative Sustainable Economic Development, POLS 253 Nature and International Society, SOCI 150 Social Problems, BUSI/COMM 303 Organizational Communication, POLS 111 Comparative Politics,   

Science: BIOL 104: Biology II: Evolution, Diversity, and Ecology, BIOL 110 Plants, People, and Environment; CHEM 100 Chemistry of Society, GENS 220 Geology
