This is a laboratory course which focuses on methods that can be used by classroom teachers, reading specialists, and other special teachers of reading and language arts. The major emphasis of this course is an extensive and supervised tutoring internship with children who have reading difficulties. A 30-hour field experience is required. (This course may be taken for credit as RDNG 422.)
Prerequisites
EDUC 346; RDNG 347; a passing score on PRAXIS I Core Academic Skills for Educators; admission to teacher education program or enrolled as a non-degree seeking student.
