Master of Education in Teaching and Learning (M.Ed) is a non-licensure program that will enable candidates to develop critical thinking skills while honing their sensitivity toward demographic, economic, cultural, and societal differences. The 36-hour credit graduate program is designed to enhance current positions and develop skills for future positions. Based in the liberal arts tradition, the program is designed to meet the educational needs of individual students by promoting breadth, depth, and the integration of knowledge. It will assist students in developing intellectual concepts, sophisticated learning skills, moral values, and good citizenship.
The program will enable a career change for fields other than education that will enable the candidate to take on leadership roles in a school or organization.
